Welcome on (the “Website”, the “Site”) operated by the America for Bulgaria Foundation (“us”, “we”, or “our”, “the Foundation”). We take to heart your privacy and the protection of your personal data and the present Notice is intended to clarify the collection and use of personal information and data that we receive from you as users of the Website.


Personal Data Collection and Use

While using our Website, you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include your name, phone number and email address, as well as Log Data as provided herein.

We use your personal information for operating and improving the Website. We may use your personal data to reply to a massage that you have submitted us by filling in the contact form available on the Website, as well as to contact you when you have made a request to “adopt a bird”  through our Website.

Facebook Inc., Facebook Pixel

Our Website uses Facebook Pixel – a tool of Facebook Inc., and if you are located in the EU or you are a user with residence in the European Union, EEA or Switzerland, the controller of your personal data is Facebook Ireland Ltd.(Facebook), for analytical purposes as well as optimize and economically exploit the Website. Using Facebook Pixel, Facebook has the ability to identify visitors to our Website as a target audience for Facebook and other company-related platforms (Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp, etc.). Accordingly, we can use Facebook Pixel to display the ads we post on Facebook to Facebook users who are interested in our Facebook page and/or this Website and thus make sure that our Facebook ads match the potential user interest. We may use Facebook Pixel to track and analyze the efficacy of Facebook ads for statistical and marketing research purposes.
